500ml bottle [#877/1200]. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty and chocolately, dark malty and slightly citrusy fruity, minimally zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, some orange, orange juice, orange peel. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty with some residual sweetness, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, orange, orange juice, a touch of orange liqueur, slightly sugary sweetness, slightly roasty and hoppy bitterness.
Slightly oily and dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Clean, focussed, good balance of sweet- and bitterness - nice, not overly complex sipper.

473ml can. Hazy, orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly zesty, citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, wheaty malty background, notes of orange, mandarine, some orange peel, weak hints of passion fruit, yeasty spicy whiffs of mustard seed. Taste is moderately bitter, zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty basis, minimally yeasty spicy overtones, notes of orange, mandarine, some mango, orange peel, a touch of mustard seed, lemon interludes; aspects of overripe, already rotting tropical fruit.
Minimally creamy, watery texture, slightly dry, also minimally greasy palate, medium, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Initially seemingly a tad simple, orange dominated, later with some nice, "dirty" subtleties - pretty decent.

440ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, notes of yellow stone fruit, nectarine, unripe peach, some woody pineapple and somehow "pure", "green", vegetable substance; yellow curry powder overtones. Taste is tart-ish and bitter, fruity hoppy, oaty malty basis without residual sweetness, notes of unripe yellow stone fruit, nectarine, peach, unripe kiwi fruit, some woody pineapple and again this unspecific green, vegetable substance;.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Rather, well, not artificial, but somehow only an extraction, restricted, depleted, engineered - meh.
Based on my previous experience with Sparkle this one doesn't come up to my expectations; but maybe it's only due to the Nectaron.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, brown colour with slightly late awakening, small, creamy, fading, off-white to beige head. Caramel malty and slightly spicy malty, tannic, minimally woody aroma, notes of caramel, oak, rum, molasses, some alcohol. Taste is alcoholic, tannic, woody, caramel malty basis without residual sweetness, hints of rum, molasses, alcohol, oak.
Viscous texture, smooth, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Boozy, imbalanced, tannic, thereby rather monotonous; nice mouthfeel, though - disappointing.

440ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, dense, frothy to creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, white head. Fruity hoppy and oaty malty aroma, notes of gooseberry, white grapes, unripe kiwi fruit, some orange, lemon, melon, lemon juice. Taste is mildly tart and bitter, fruity hoppy, oaty and slightly wheaty malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of gooseberry, white grapes, kiwi fruit, some orange, orange peel, lemon, lemon juice; still citrusy, but quite oaty and minimally chalky finish. The vinous, "green" fruity hoppy aspects (Nelson Sauvin) seem to be a bit ephemeral, the citrusy hop flavours definitely gain weight after a while; some dank, resinous, grassy overtones with a touch of hemp shine through with some delay as well.
Creamy texture, super soft, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry and astringent palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very well crafted, wonderful composition: varied and multifacetted, thereby harmonious, dangerously drinkable and moreish - great!
