Fairly fruity and refreshing, interesting tart-ish touch, but the hop composition doesn't rank under "beloved" in my personal charts - decent.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average to huge, super dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, minimally resinous and grassy, hoppy aroma, pale and caramel malty background with a touch of peanut and almond, hints of orange, lemon, grapefruit, some weed, sweaty and minimally cheesy overtones. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Minimally, well, not really unpleasant or mismatching, but minimally disturbing, a tad too intense, earthy, musty, resinous hoppy aspects, apart from that well crafted and balanced - solid, but not overly exciting.

473ml can [Madurada en barricas de Bourbon]. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, average, very dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, brown head. BA dominated, spicy, dark malty aroma, notes of wood, leather, peat, liquorice, salmiac. Taste is BA supported, bitter hoppy and bitter, roasty, dark malty, slightly caramel malty with some residual sweetness and minimally fruity, hints of leather, peat, wood, salmiac, liquorice, tar, dark caramel, a touch of treacle, plum butter, raisin, Bourbon, vanilla, oak.
Viscous texture, smooth, soft and greasy, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rich, intense and complex, a bit demanding, fairly balanced on a very high level - maybe not really unique in the seemingly maxed out craft beer world, but definitely a terminal point in the BIPA's universe dilatation.
