500ml bottle. Opalescent, faint, redd-ish-golden colour with small, creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Oaky and vinous fruity, mildly funky yeasty aroma, lots of oak, some marmite, a touch of blue grapes, morello, red wine, tannin. Taste is woody, mildly tart, vinous fruity, funky yeasty and mellow malty, notes of oak, tannin, blue grapes, red wine, a touch of morello, marmite, black pepper, red currant.
Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally greasy palate, finem, dense, soft, creamy, mildly brickly carbonation.
Excellent mouthfeel, overall a tad rough, edgy - not bad.

375ml bottle. Jet black colour, no head. BA supported, chocolately and slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, espresso, dark cocoa, dark chocolate, hints of molasses, a touch of rum. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, BA notes of rum, molasses and a woody touch not until the finish, some warming alcohol as well; lingering, sweet-ish chocolately and minimally boozy finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation.
Incredibly viscous, intense, very nice coffee flavours, some non-integrated and slightly disharmonious BA aspects; gains some homogeneity and harmony while warming up - decent, but not exciting.
Guess I wouldn't miss the BA even if that came down to a smaller body and a more monotonous result.

250ml bottle. Quasi black colour with weak ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Weak, minimalyl roasty, dark malty and caramel malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge, whiffs of toffee. Taste is slightly roasty, dark malty, minimally caramel malty, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, a diluted touch of toffee; dry, metallic finish.
Watery texture, rather dry and repellent palate, fine, mildl yprickly carbonation.
Relatively weak aroma, quite metallic - not really convincing.
