Grutbier

330ml bottle. Dark brown colour with weak ruby shimmer and small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Herbal and spicy aroma, dark and caramel malty background, notes of cinnamon, herbs, a touch of tonka bean. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally dark malty, herbal and slightly spicy, notes of herbs, a touch of cola.
Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, slight cola resemblance - decent.

A clear dark orange brown beer. Aroma of gagel, medicine, dark malt, dark fruits. Taste of sour dark fruits, cardamon, gagel, raisins.

Stark kräutriger, dann überraschend säuerlicher Beginn. Spritzig, Lavendel, wenig Gemüse. Spritzig, erfrischend, langer Abgang, vollmundig. 8/11/10/11/9/11

Tap at Braustättchen am Fischmarkt. Brown, orange, dark. Karamalz, pear, salt roasted, licorice, lime. Taste is ginger, tea, malty. This is interesting, but not Sherry.

Tap at Braustübchen. Perfumed nose, honey, lime nose. Dark brown, clear, off white to brown cream, salt, lime, citrus, lavendar, not much barrel here, very, fun.
