Cask at Lamplighter Northampton. Amber with a frothy head head. Aroma of fruity jam. Flavour is tart berries, sweet cake on a a int bitter background. Sticky finish, odd flavour.

Just on the edge of the town centre. Open warehouse/ hall feel to the bar. Mixture of church pews, hotel armchairs and old school tables and chairs. 8 cask and 4 draught taps, a few generic bottles. Brewkit behind the bar. Nice sound of chat early on a Saturday afternoon. Mixed age clientele, lovely vibe to the place.
