Grew up in England and developed a taste for English ales. Traveled a lot to Belgium and surrounding countries and grew to appreciate these European styles. Traveled to USA a fair bit, starting in the dark days when it was a beer desert, and then enjoying the flourishing microbrewery scene. Moved in 1994 to Australia which was then a beer desert, so grew to appreciate the excellent Aussie wines and my own homebrew. Now there is a flourishing microbrewery scene in Aus, which is great. I travel a lot to Asia, which was generally grim for beer, although with some interesting pockets of excellence there if you looked hard; but now several countries have good craft beers. I was a RateBeerian for 18 years (Oct 2007 until its demise in 2025), with username Pyobon.

(On tap) Hazy amber with big white head. Aroma is fruity coffee. Medium body with good carbonation. Taste, like the aroma, is coffee with fruity notes. Nice bitterness at the end. Very good.

(On tap) Hazy deep pink with small white head. Raspberry prominent in aroma. Medium body with good soft carbonation. Taste is prominently raspberry with citrus hints over a subtle malt base. Very good.

Cool place in the shopping mall of the main station. Staff super friendly and helpful. Unusual serve yourself, pay by quantity system allows you to sample many beers. About 15 taps of which about 10 their own beers. The three I tried were very good. Hard to pour without a lot of head but the staff remove the head and replace with beer. They have good but I didn’t try it. Ambience is… unusual, and a great experience. But not a place to settle in for drinks.

(Can) Pours clear pale golden with big white head. Intense yuzu aroma - apparent as soon as I opened the can! That’s not a criticism as it’s very pleasant. There are hints of biscuit malt too. Light body with plenty of soft carbonation gives a great mouthfeel. The taste is goo and surprisingly well balanced given the aroma. There’s plenty of yuzu, but also biscuit malt. Very refreshing and enjoyable.
