Refugee from the RateBeer shutdown (profile name Maris). If my ratings seem consistently high, it's primarily because I've got to the point where I mainly drink the styles I like best, from the breweries who I know produce consistently good gear.

From a 440ml can on 2/7/2025. Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. The nose is tropical (passionfruit and mango) with some orange. Passionfruit, orange and mango dominate on the sip with a firmish, zesty bitterness taking the edge off the sweet fruit up front. Has a silky mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. Super cohesive, moreish. and impressive. These guys are doing some brilliant hazies atm.

From a 440ml can (purchased direct from the brewer) on 29/6/2025. Pours a hazy medium golden with a medium head. The nose features lots of tropical fruit with a touch of citrus. Tastes of passionfruit, orange and mandarin - medium sweet, with a moderate citrus zest bitterness at the back. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Nicely done and very enjoyable, if not their very best.

From a 330ml bottle on 26/6/2025. Pours a deep brown with the barest of heads. The nose features stewed plums, with some vinous notes. On the sip, it's punchy, sweet and sharp - plums again dominating with some, dates raisins and a touch of caramel. It's on the dessertish side, but there's a tart light sour giving it great balance. You get the barrel aged, boozy side of it, but it's not super pronounced. Has an oily, slick mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A substantial, lovely, fruity fireside sipper.

From a 440m can on 22/6/2025. Pours near black with a medium deep tan head that disappears after a while. The nose features chocolate , mud cake, vanilla and a touch of soy. Itโ€™s very sweet up front โ€“ milk and dark chocolate, salted caramel, fudge, Nutella, and a dash of soy at the back. The sweetness is met perfectly by a sharp, slightly salty, roasty bitterness in finishing. The palate is super syrupy, the carbonation softish to moderate. A cracking huge pastry sipper - complex, balanced, and as it says on the can, delicious.
