Draught @ the brewpub. Dark brown with faint red highlights, very small frothy ring of tan head, caramel aroma with alcohol, low carbonation, bitterish coffee-caramel taste with faint woodsy flavor, alcohol undertones, smooth body, long bitter coffee finish. Well balanced barrel aged stout.

Draught @ Hardware Gastropub, Chicago IL (Feb 2026). Clear dark brown with red highlights, very small frothy off-white head that's just a ring around the glass, sweet caramel aroma, low carbonation, sweetish caramel taste with whiskey flavor, alcohol undertones, faint woodsy tone, smooth body, long woodsy bourbon finish. Not az boozy as I had expected.

Draught @ Hop Butcher taproom, Chicago IL. Extremely hazy dull yellow with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus peel, guava taste, mandarin orange flavor, smooth body, long finish. A great basket of flavors with a very smooth body.

Can, from Warehouse Liquors, Chicago IL. Cloudy dark brown with faint red highlights, very small frothy beige head that disappears immediately, woodsy bourbon aroma, maple syrup, low carbonation, sweetish woodsy bourbon-maple syrup taste with alcohol overtones, long woodsy bourbon finish. Quite boozy.

Draught @ First Draft, Chicago IL (Mar 2026). Opaque dark brown with a very small frothy dark chocolate head, low carbonation, initially sweet later medium bitter dark chocolate-mocha taste with rum/alcohol undertones, smooth body, long spirit dominated finish. Not terribly boozy despite the ABV.
