Keg at BD Brum. Hazy pineapple yellow. Thin foamy white head sticks to the rim. Aroma has soft stone fruit and some random fruit from Whole Foods. Flavourwise it has soft fruit sweetness with a vaguely bitter edge. A sour streak then appears from the depths. Gets tang, bab. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice enough but not blowing me away.

Cask at Wellington, Brum. Dark and glossy. Foamy tan head. Aroma had creamy and coffee with a slightly sour edge. Flavourwise we have a sweet core with hints of bitterness and vaguely sour edge. But it's muted. Develops cardboard into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Attempting some creamy elements but falls well short. Average carbonation. Limp Stout.

Cask at Wellington, Brum. Hazy-opaque gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has light citrus and not much else. Flavourwise it's virtually flavourlless. Lightest citrus sourness and smooth malts but all rather watered down. Light. Slick. Soft carbonation. A finish. Fell asleep after a couple of sips.

Cask at The Colmore, Brum. Opaque brown. Thin foamy light beige head primarily clings to the rim. Aroma has fruit, sour fruit, dark malts amd booze. Flavourwise it's quite sour with a light fruit sweet edge. Hints of underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not overly keen on this Barley Wine. Too sour for me. Not aw warming sipper which is what I want from the style.
