P: higher viscosity, peanuts, roasted malt, light char, light woody acidity. Good, but was expecting more character.

C: murky papaya orange, oxidized mango
N: oxidized, tropical fruit, malt, caramel
P: med bodied, oxidized/cardboard, caramel, faint papaya, faint orange, dry and pasty finish. Alcohol is present, but not boozy.

C: dark chestnut brown, tall frothy beige head
N: sour, acidic, liquorice
P: sour, acidic, plastic notes, earthy, clay. Bit of a downer after being aged.

C: chestnut brown
N: peat, campfire ash, medicinal notes, iodine, light TCP, light bbq
P: light to med bodied, mineral notes, campfire smoke, faint ash. Feels a little too gentle on the palate and lacks oomph. Aging doesn't help.

Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 4.5

C: clear rich amber
N: very malty, heather honey, quite sweet, floral hops
P: med bodied, very sweet and malty, sticky honeyed notes, slight hoppy dry pasty finish. Aging did not do this beer well, drink fresh next time.

C: clear amber
N: sour, acidic, light vinaigrette, very faint cider
P: light, crisp, sour, very faintly tart, very faint fermented apples. Nice and clean even after years in the cellar.
