Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Hazy dark yellow color, average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, aroma surprisingly has pear notes at least that's what it comes across to me, flavor has it too with sweetish (candy) sugar notes, probably the cognac adding complexity. Nice one. 8-7,5-8-8-8

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Nice clear autumnal red brown color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, some dark candy sugars especially retro-nasal. Flavor is similar: malts, soft raisins in the background, dark candy sugar, balanced sweetness with some bitterness as well, slight touch of burnt malts. Alright. Body needs some work I'd say, a bit thin, a bit too heavy carbonation imo. But the base beer is okay I think. 8-7-6,5-5-6

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear chestnutt-ish red brown color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, rather bitter, fizzy carbonation, a slight sourish touch, distant caramelized sugars. Hmm no, lacks body, balance and finesse. 7-6-4,5-4-4

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Dark brown to black color, slight dark red glare coming through when held into the light. Aroma is brown malts and coffee. Flavor is malts, coffee, but a lot of brown malts and residu. Hard to explain but it tastes muddy. Too young maybe? More of an English brown ale now. Needs work imo. 7-6-6-6-5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear orange golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a light blossomy touch, sweetish a little in the beginning but rather bitter in the finish. A bit fizzy carbonation. Mwah. Unimpressive tbh. 7-6-5-5-5
