T Smakt - Imperial Stout

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Almost opaque dark brown color, average sized beige to tan head. Aroma is malts, some roast but mainly brown malts. Flavor is malts, brown malts, grainy a bit, green coffee beans and a light sour note. Pretty sure this will turn bad quickly. Seems slightly infected and not the right malts used. To me it tastes more like a failed attempt at a brown ale. Not good. 6-5-4,5-5-4

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Hazy pale yellow-golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is malts, hay, a bit bland. Flavor is malts, hayish, hayish bitter, firm bitterness in the aftertaste. One-sided, not enough fruity hoppiness, so it only has bitterness and becomes one-sided because of that. Meh. 5-5-5-5-4,5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Opaque murky brownish color, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, sweetness, light raisins, somewhat boozy, but not annoyingly, distant oak. Quite okay, nothing too impressive but also nothing offensive. 6-7,5-6,5-7-6,5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Hazy light orange color, huge creamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is nicely hoppy, but the flavor is rather one-sided bitter, dusty and medicinal. Something is definitely off. Unfortunately, not good. 7-7-3,5-5-4,5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Clear but dark amber to brownish color, small to average sized beige to tan head. Aroma is malts, wood, whiskey heavily. Flavor is malts, wood, whiskey, peat, vanilla heavily as well and boozy. Quite awesome though. Maybe a little thin bodied but still oily texture. Pretty good. 9-8,5-8-8-7,5

Sampled at Hop On Hop Off Festival, Breda, 2026. Opaque brown color with a red hue, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, caramelized sugars a bit. Flavor is malts, boozy a bit, sweetish a bit, some red fruit notes and wood. Thin texture, I miss sticky texture. Hmm decent base but needs more work. 7-6-6-5-6
