Benzai Profile - Brewver

Bottle shared. Darker red-brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is -oddly enough- somewhat fruity and oaky. Flavor is malts, someahat light fruity notes again. Then, tonka after a while. Also vanilla thereafter and maple syrup. But to say I get bourbon and rum? No. Also very thin, so the base beer is not strong enough to support the barrel aging it seems. Meh, overall, unbalanced and too thin.

Bottle shared. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soy sauce cocoa, cocos, vanilla. Booze and quite some nutty roasty notes in the finish. Heavy.

Bottle shared by Inoven. Brown color, virtually no head. Aroma is sweet, sweetish ripe dark fruits, candy sugar. Flavor is mostly sweet, sugary a bit, but also a light boozy nite, so I guess the rum. Okay.

Can at home shared with Laura. Ugly murky punica appearance, medium sized white head. Aroma is sweetish tropical fruit hoppy. Flavor is malts, fruity hoppy a bit but with a tart-ish citrusy lightly tangy tangerine and orange peel hop-bitterness. Hmm not great.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Dark brown with a little red glow when held into the light, average sized beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, caramel notes, dark candy sugar, but also lightly herbal, herbal bitter. Decent, but not my kind of beer tbh.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Dark brown towards black colored beer, red-brown glare coming through when held into the light. Aroma and flavor are malts, malty bitter, some caramel maybe? Hmm no that's not it. Just can't put my finger on it. Herbal-ish notes. Okay. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hayish, dusty grainy in a pretty good way. Flavor is malts, a bit yeasty, moderately bitter, hayish bitter notes. Alright tripel.
