Draft at the Ho Chi Minh City brewpub. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tutti frutti citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with fresh, crisp, malt, juicy mango citrus, opal fruit, light pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle from Lagom, Ho Chi Minh City. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is big toffee caramel, light alcohol. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, malty, red berry fruits, yeasty, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with average to soft carbonation.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat rich, crisp, yeasty, light toffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Well what a find! I was stuck in the middle of an Asian downpour with no coat, cap or umbrella. I typed “craft beer” into Google and this place was just 2 minutes away. It’s a Belgian bar and cafe and super upmarket. It’s really beautifully decorated inside. I could easily be in Brussels! They have around 70 bottled Belgian beers. No taps. Working WiFi. The staff were super attentive and spoke good English. They even gave me a little brass bell to ring if I needed any help! I amazingly even found a tick here too. Thank heavens for that downpour or I would never have found this place. Prices are very reasonable.
