Visited on a busy Friday evening without a reservation and they sat me at a table with two local guys who were good company after a several hour long warm up period. Inside is smallish and was empty when I visited. Beer garden is partially shaded by trees and grapevines, nicely atmospheric. House cider comes in several varieties, served by the glass or by the small or large bembel. Fiid is regional German cuisine, tasty with decent portions. Staff were kind, hellful and spoke English fluently. I told our server that it was my first time visiting and he brought me a different glass of cider whenever I finished the previous one, without my asking. Like a Kölsch place but with ebelwoi! Finished with a Mispel courtesy of my tablemates. Great place.

A quiet uncrowded location at FRA, a rare and welcome thing, and outside security, right above the Fernbahnhof. Patio seating is non-smoking!!!! Of course the patio is indoors. Still, it was a rare escape from clouds of cigarette smoke. Service is prompt and efficient, in multiple languages. Unexciting beer list but the basics are there. Food is so-so, standard German with a handful of veggie options. My falafel salad skimped a bit on the ingredients, including the falafel, just two small ones. Still, location alone makes it a worthwhile stop.
