Biruski Profile - Brewver (Dev)

A decent size bar in a very lively area of Jerez. It’s on the corner so the map isn’t entirely accurate but basically just turn around and you’ll see it. Opens into a narrow, loge space with the bar taking up the majority of the right side. Plenty of seating options though. The taps were pouring some beers one doesn’t usually see in this area of Spain. Urquell, 3 different Ayinger, St. Bernardus abt 12, and a host of craft options from the bigger and lesser known Spanish breweries. Three coolers of cans and bottles with plenty of hype beers, Belgians, BCBS varieties and plenty more. Cans/bottles are available to go, also. Barkeep was friendly and helpful. A must hit when in the area.

Cloudy orange with a white head. Sweet fruits, caramel malts, some tropical citrus, and a muted hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Small bitterness in the finish with sweet citrus. Not sure who thinks this is a WCIPA.

Hazy yellow with a white head. Sharply tangy tropical fruits, apricot, nectarine, citrus, creamsicle, oat sweetness. Full bodied. Good for the style.

Black with very minimal, bubbly head. Plenty of Oloroso Sherry right up front followed by light molasses, some chocolate, faint roasted notes, dark ripe fruits, dates. Full, oily body. Finish has more Oloroso and fruit. Could use a bit more depth and complexity that would be more apparent with more carbonation but it’s a nice beer.
