7.8/10 β€” Setting 8 Selection 7 Service 8 Food Value 8 Overall 8
Nice looking, relatively new brewery in an old industrial building in Northern Liberties. The brewery focuses mostly on making beer in the 4-7% range, focusing on hazy pale ales, some IPAs, and lagers. The selection is generally about 7 or so beers on tap at a time. The beers are available in a variety of sizes, and they are across the board high quality. There are no cans or bottles, but they might do crowlers. There are two floors, but generally only the bar on the second floor functions. Friendly staff is there, and sometimes the brewer is behind the bar. Future Days, along with other relative newcomers to the Philly scene Lost Time and Sacred Vice, promote a session-drinking culture with less focus on coming up with something new constantly. That said, nothing particularly experimental will be found here. You can bring your own food and your own kids.

Fortunately for the tickers of the world, this bar now happily provides you with small pours. The bar tenders were quite friendly and fairly well versed in beer. The place is large and old school beer bar generally speaking with an untappd-linked beer menu. The selection was a lot of SD beers (definitely not like 11 years ago), but also included selections from Drekker, White Elm, Blackstack, Humble Forager and some other Midwest breweries. The bottle selection is unlikely to really entice anyone who has spent a fair bit of time beer rating. In short, I managed to pull a lot of ticks here. They appear to have pizza as food, but I did not partake. If I ever find myself in Rapid City again, I will likely stop in.
