Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, grapefruit, mixed tropicana.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, pine resin, dank spike, guava.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy DIPA.

Can split at the Head Of Steam, Durham, 14/05/2025.
Almost clear golden orange topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is mellow citric zest, papaya, grass.
Taste comprises melon, tangerine, grass, airy malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness.
Passable pale.

Keg at the Head Of Steam, Durham, 14/05/2025.
Raspberry red with a crimson cap that retains well.
Nose is tangy berries, herb, sugars, lactic tang.
Taste comprises berry pips, vanilla, rhubarb stalk, herb, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering edge.
Fun enough ... not sure its much of a pale ale mind!

Cask at the Head Of Steam, Durham, 14/05/2025.
Clear golden blonde topped with a lasting off white head ... some lacing ensues.
Nose is pale malts, straw, gentle berry esters.
Taste comprises light perfume, mellow berry skins, soft malts, grass, light perfume.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
Passable golde.

Hazed orange topped with a lasting off white cap.
Nose is yeast esters, citric tinged straw, herb, grass.
Taste comprises hedgerow, light astringency, grass, yeast, herb, light white peppery spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Okay saison.

Taste comprises yeast esters, hedgerow, lemon drizzle, grass, straw, light barnyard nip.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light tangy edge.
Tidy saison.
