Sample thanks to Grumbo.
Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, a little roast malt, subtle marshmallow. Taste of dark chocolate, molasses, roast malts, some roasty bitterness, almost no marshmallow, and not even much sweetness to it either. Medium bodied, high-ish carbonation.
Doesn't really deliver on what was promised, but isn't bad per se

Very dark brown with a very frothy tan head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, plum. Taste is even more roasty with almost burnt/smokey notes to it, dark chocolate, lots more plum than the aroma suggested, some bitterness with it but also a creamy sweetness which stays in the finish. Medium bodied.

Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of lemonade. Taste is very sweet, sugary lemonade, very little of the base pale ale left here, subtle malts is all, slightly tart but overall the lemonade sweetness is dominant. Light bodied, moderate carbonation.
Despite the sugary sweetness, at least it's not as syrupy and cloying as the other one of theirs I had. I'll just say I'm glad I only had a small sample and not a full can.

Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, treacle, roast malts. Taste is sweet, chocolatey, treacle, roast malts, fruity, bitter finish though still fairly sweet overall. Medium bodied.
Pretty decent actually.

Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of very sweet malts, sweet sugary bread, a bit fruity, mild spice. Taste isn't quite as sweet as the aroma suggested but still a lot of sweet bread, banana, spice. Light-medium bodied.
Just about serviceable, too sweet to really enjoy it.

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, piney, resinous, a bit of caramel and biscuit. Taste is as they promised, old school C-hops prominently showing orange and grapefruit, citrus peel, pine, very resinous, a touch of sweetness from the malts, mostly caramel, biscuit there too, finish with a strong lingering bitterness. Medium bodied, crisp, clean.
A cracking westie, they don't do many but it's best one I've had from Polly's I reckon.
