I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - I think it's pants.

Looks like I may be the first person to tick this actually in Saint Vincent. Found a local bar in my neighborhood here that had bottles thanks to a friendly local who insisted I try some of his. Of course I did so, but bought a bottle to take away and tick in the comfort of my apartment here. Or on this case the balcony that seems for one short moment not to have constant rooster noises and baaing from the local goats. Some dogs are still giving a good old woof though. Anyway. I’m just drinking it from the bottle, but I could clearly see its credentials from the sample I was given earlier. It’s black with a tan head. Bet you never expected that! On the nose it’s clear this is going to be pretty sweet. It’s that fudgy milk chocolate kinda deal upfront. I like it, but I wouldn’t want too much of it.

Bottle from a local supermarket at my Airbnb by Paradise Beach, Saint Vincent. Black with a small tan head. Aroma is licorice upfront with roast, dark chocolate and caramel. Above moderate sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. I’ve seen so many folks here drink this early in the morning, I’m happy to just try it at as a last beer of the night after dinner. Thankfully they’ve improved it since Per had it 23 years ago!

Bottle at a restaurant near Paradise Beach in Saint Vincent. It’s a mess. Malty, oxidized, horrible. The normal Hairoun is a lot better.
