330ml can. Clear gold with small white head, spotted retention. Aroma of pine, resinous hops, citrus and spice. Flavour is the same but you can really taste the different elements. Nice finish helped by a good bitterness and spiky mid-level carbonation. Slick medium body. Well brewed and enjoyable.

440ml can from Asda. Hazed yellow-gold with white top, some spotted retention. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, papaya, black pepper - decent freshness. Taste starts with a vague citric and tropical fruit but then there is a great flavour burst where the fruitiness comes through well. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Good.

440ml can from Asda. Nice black pour but a brief tanned fizzy head. Aroma of chocolate biscuit and the salted caramel - quite rich and fairly sweet with a light Neapolitan creaminess. Taste follows the same path with a moderate but building bitterness in the finish to offset the sweetness. Medium to full bodied.

I can see that a lot of different malts were used but the adjuncts dominate any malt complexity except for a general flavour of richness. Good stuff but not next level for an imperial stout.

330ml can from Beer52. Clear dark gold with white head, spotted retention. Aroma of overripe citrus, grapefruit, melon, flora and malt. Taste is quite cereal noted with some herbs, citrus and melon. Semi-drying, medium bodied, some resinous bitterness. It's OK but a touch flabby.

330ml can from Asda. Semi hazed gold with two finger sized white head which recedes to a nice covering with plenty of lacing. Aroma of mango, papaya, lime, wheat and a mild grass and pine. Taste is juicy with tropical and citric noted hops, light sharpness, moderate but notable grass and woody bitterness. Light to mid-bodied and would be better if it had more body but it still packs a flavour punch and has a nice soft carbonation mouthfeel. Very good.

Tap at Tilt. Light misted gold with white head, good retention. Nice intensity to the aroma, quite fruity and earthy. Taste of strawberry, citrus, mango and pine with a decent bitter punch. Very good all round IPA.

330ml can. Misted gold with well formed white top, decent retention. Aroma has sweet cereal and citric notes without being too sickly. Also hints of grass and spice. Taste sadly has a cardboard flavour element which is a shame as the hops come through well with a citric and spicy niggle, nay wiggle. Slickness to the near medium body. Its ok.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. I have limited notes on this one but I recall it wasn't that great. Dark gold with white head. Was malty with biscuit and some peppery notes. Mid-bitter finish. Semi-dry and near medium bodied. Just tasted quite basic.
