330ml can from Beer52. Pours a dark brown to near black with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, hint of berry, some sweetness - not picking up much chocolate. Taste has a lot more of the latter although no real malt layers here. On the other hand there is some complexity from the earthiness and hops with blueberry, wood, herbal notes which helps to give an enjoyable finish to this. Overall it was quite enjoyable.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Semi-hazed gold with white head and very good retention. There is a tangy fruit and white pepper aroma. Flavour again in tangy and quite citric with notes of cereals, chewitt sweets and mint. Medium bodied, drying. OK.

330ml can from Beer52. Hazy gold with white head receding to a wispy foam. Aroma is quite juicy with guava and pineapple as well as a grassy to spicy note. Quite bitter, dry and grassy for a NEIPA although the flavour does have some reasonable tropical juiciness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi-dry but still retains a slickness.

330ml can from Beer52 at 4.8% and noted as a Pils. Its currently a golden ale on here although a number below have described this as a lager. Pours a clear dark gold with small white head. Aroma of malt, earthiness, some sweetness. Taste again has an earthy malt, some flora and tinned fruit. Medium bodied, semi-drying. Somewhat Kolsch like and certainly interesting.

440ml can from Asda. Fairly hazed orange-gold with small white head, modest retention. Aroma of yeasty lemon, melon, orange zest, Weetabix. Taste is juicy with mango and orange with a herbal edge and mild coconut hint. There is a bitter woody note that builds. Medium body and carbonation and fairly standard mouthfeel for an IPA but not a DIPA. Overall though I found it enjoyable - some very good flavours going on.

330ml can from Beer52, Crystal clear pale gold with small white foam, no retention. Aroma of your standard lager malt but with more citric and earthy hops than your standard affair. This barely flows through to the taste unfortunately as it has a slightly burnt barley malt flavour with moderate bitter hops and that's about it. Not overly carbonated but lacks a crispness. Meh.

330ml can. Semi-hazed gold with well formed white top. Aroma of cereal, biscuit, papaya, citrus, some herbs. Taste has a cereal, sweet tropical, slight resin. Near medium bodied, slick, fine carbonation, modest bitterness. A bit basic but balanced and refreshing.
