440ml can. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, dry, citrus, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Odd numbered years used to mean a summer off watching football - not anymore. Not sure if that's a celebration or complaint... but I'm watching! No complaints with this very sweet-fruity IPA. Hazy and citrus based tropical notes in both aroma and taste, without much bitterness. Good body but not heavy. Excellent art-work on the can, which is what this beer celebrates.

Can at home picked up from ASDA. A hazed golden orange coloured poour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is tangy citrus orange, tangerine, some peach melba, soft wheat, bready grains. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, highish carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wheat, mixed citrus, orange rind, tangerine, peach softness. Nice stuff. Solid supermarche offering.

440ml can from Asda. Hazed yellow-gold with white top, some spotted retention. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, papaya, black pepper - decent freshness. Taste starts with a vague citric and tropical fruit but then there is a great flavour burst where the fruitiness comes through well. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Good.

Can from ASDA in Watford, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a thinnish white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, lemon, grapefruit, apricot, tropical fruit aroma and taste. A rather drinkable dank IPA from Northern Monk. A really good supermarket offering in fact, more like the Northern Monk of old. I'll buy more of this for sure.
