Visited on their second anniversary, the Swedish pronunciation of this place was lost on me. It’s a small but charming place with tables, bar occupying lots of it, fridge with lots of options and a beerstore-esque bit. Lots of things happen in a not too big place. They have Knackebrod Pizza, didn’t try. 12 taps with lots of interesting imports mainly, bit more interesting for a local than a tourist but a cool selection all the same.

Mad busy (appropriately) when we visited and jampacked with expats I assume. They had a quiz night going on which seemed fun enough and they were selling hot dogs and everyone seemed to know everyone else. The beer list took some time figuring out, Fjäderhalmen, Angbryggeri, the closest to manageably priced quality Swedish lager / drinking beers you can get for the most part but also Holy Goat and Sibeeria for more interesting other styles. I saw afterwards that they’re also Untappd verified. Cool enough place that felt noticeably different from the other bars in town with an interesting beerlist.

Showed up just before last call and they were playing MF Doom, big bonus point. Great music in general when visiting, really comfy chairs and less Danish minimalist chic and more comfortable. 20 taps about half of them Mikkeller with slightly more interesting selection than usual Ayinger, Tilquin, Alefarm,… Different from other places in town, bonus points for music and comfiness, definitely an above average Mikkeller for me.

Crazy busy upon visit, utterly gorgeous Bavarian style bar with an almost UK style finish to it. Highlight was how all the beers were poured, it doesn’t get much better really. Tap is Swedish micros, Gänstaller, Spezial, Schlenkerla all in sublime condition. First time that I had Spezial as good as at brewery outside of the brewery. The hype was justified for me.

Visited twice during my trip, so much has been said about this place that adding more seems almost superfluous. Its way comfier, busier and bigger than expected. Taplist is mad big with some interesting choices like a non lambiek Den Herberg beer and a lager made for them specifically. Everything that I tried was good and in good condition, well poured, friendly service. Tried one of the Mackmyra bottlings made for them, great stuff too. Amazing place.

Oh yeah this is on point. The color pattern, green and clay, the basement, bit dark, the seating, the bar. The tap menu is limited and doesn’t go deep or obscure. The pour of Pilsner Urquell which I got was a work of art, the foam and the quality, best condition that I have ever had it in and I have been to the brewery etc. Awesome stuff.

More central than expected, this place is massive and goes way deeper than expected. Christmas decorated in season, very comfy chairs, and massive bar. Very popular including some quite American tourists. The whiskey menu is thick, Ardbeg really has made some gimmick bottlings, got the flight assuming that I would pop by later but that didn’t work out. The flight were the standards, barrels mentioned seemed different, not sure if special version or clearer labeling. Untappd verified, 16 taps are a more impressive beer menu than expected, Ardbeg has their own beer which I quite enjoyed. Plenty of lager from Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri, Nils Oscar, Nacka, lots of old school Swedish stuff. I feel like that this a tap list that combines really well with some whiskey sampling. Really happy with my visit, top place.
