The Firefly Beerhaus opened in 2005 with a focus on good beer from the get go. Initially focused more on cask ale and continental beers the firefly went on to win runner up pub of the year in 2008 and then won pub of the year 2009.

We have a well put together line up of craft beers from Deya, Verdant, Yonder, Sureshot, Glasshouse & Nothing Bound. Rotating and well kept cask beers. Czech lagers, German Helles & Dunkels on draught, Bavarian & Franconian bottles & Belgian classics including Lambics & Trappist beers. We have been awarded the Orval Ambassador status 2020, 2021 & 2022.

Weekly open mic nights, monthly comedy nights, DJ nights and Live Music at weekends. Our kitchen has also been home to the amazing Smokin Brad’s since 2021. We dare you to find a better burger!
