Description
Paisley’s former head post office is now this public house. This long-standing local landmark opened in 1893, occupying the two-storey range fronting onto County Square. The eye-catching building was designed in the Tudor Gothic style by the architect Walter Robertson, of the Board of Works. Fellow architect William Oldrieve was responsible for the three-storey corner block added in 1912. The two properties are both grade B listed.
