Description
Welcome to one of Brussels' first "estaminet" (tavern). Opened at the end of the 19th Century, 1877 to be precise, à la Bécasse (The Woodcock) has maintained its authentic decor ever sin.The bar is located in the heart of Brussels, a few steps from the Grand Place and the Brussels Stock Exchange.
Our specialties are the famous Lambic, Gueuze and Kriek beers from our century-long partners, the Timmermans Brewers, served directly from the barrel in traditional clay jugs. The drinks menu also offers other options: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, aperitifs, wines and soft drinks.
Light meals are also offered with for example "country sandwiches,
portions of cheese, sausage etc... "
As well a selection of hot meals (spaghetti Bolognese, croque monsieur etc..)
Looking forward to seeing you at à la Bécasse.
