Dopey's Elixer was founded in the early seventies, a time when extraordinary people where in fashion. We still like to maintain the atmosphere of that era, when we had a lively community who organized themselves in several sporting- and variety clubs and organized big parties. We still like to create an atmosphere that makes us different from the rest. We are one of the last remaining traditional Amsterdam bars, but with a modern touch as you can see in our selection of drinks and food.
