Description
The Plough is a traditional grade 2 listed, thatched roof pub. It boasts a well kept one acre garden which has a stream running alongside, plenty of outdoor seating and the unique addition of a boules pitch to the rear as well as a small children’s play area. In 2020 the interior space was increased with the addition of a wonderful garden room, this over looks the beautiful patio and pergola area and can seat up to 25 people, ideal for small functions and family gatherings.

Traditional Cider and Cask Ales are still a big focus at The Plough, the Real Ale is served from a small hatch, straight from the casks which are racked at the back of the bar. To compliment this, the interior still boasts the famous tap room, where you’ll find a cosy seat by the open fire during the Winter. In the Summer, The Plough holds it’s now infamous Cider Festival which brings the garden to life for a weekend of live music, dancing and entertainment.
There is an additional small function room available for hire, seating up to 14 people. It has a TV with a USB point and is ideal for small meetings, coffee mornings, meeting groups and special occasion private dining.

The Plough prides itself on being dog friendly there are plenty of fresh water bowls and even treats behind the bar for your canine companions.
