We brewed this beer with our friends at Full Throttle Bottles to celebrate their 4th Anniversary. Eric Hates This IPA is also a nod to Eric, FTB's longest tenured employee and resident IPA hater. We wanted to make sure that Eric would really hate this beer so we went full on Northwest Style with big IBU's and a healthy punch of flavor and aroma hops. Simcoe and Citra Cryo hops bring the citrus and pine while HBC 586 adds the guava and mango. As Eric would say, "this beer is such a perfect specimen of an IPA. I hate it!" Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice pine and light resin note with some grass supporting. Flavor has dank pine and light resin with some earthy citrus and grass supporting.
