Sampled from the tap at Black Rose. Pours a dark amber brown with a chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bright caramel note with sweet dark grains, barrel and toffee backing. Flavor has a good amount of rye with a bit of chocolate, caramel and dark grains underlying.
