On tap at Legion, pours a cloudy copper bronze with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of red wine tannins, with subdued earthy hops. Flavour is similar, with sweet caramel, subdued resinous hops, and subdued red wine tannins. Resinous and caramely. Solid stuff.

Draft at the source courtesy of mcberko, thanks! Crystal clear golden color, odd for a NE IPA, but I like it better this way. Tannins dominate both the aroma and the flavor, and I'm not sure they mesh well with the hops. Light bitterness. Just OK
