One of our most highly requested beers over the year, we finally gave it a go. We added loads of toasted marshmallow to our Imperial Milk Stout with twice the amount of peanut, vanilla bean, cocoa nib, and sea salt, that aged in 5-year Old Elk Bourbon barrels for 13 months. The result is truly King Sized.

Deep dark, thin ring of tan foam. Definitely nose of marshmallow and chocolate. Kind of overwhelms any bourbon character, at least in the nose. But bourbon is there in the taste. Thick syrupy mouthfeel, more chocolate bar and marshmallow. Not much roast stout burn, but a sweet aperitif character.

Can shared by Adam, thanks! Pours black with a deep brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of toasted marshmallow and bourbon with a bit of sweet dark grains and caramel backing. Flavor combines dark grains and roasted marshmallow with a bit of bourbon and bitter chocolate supporting.
