Pomology is a series of beers that explore the interplay of fruit and beer. We added both sour and sweet cherries to a base of golden, sour ale and allowed the beer to ferment a second time and age on oak. Pouring a brilliant red, bright cherry aromas and flavors are backed with a softness from the oak, finishing tart and crisp.

500ML from AFH. good looking beer, a little bit of haze, some sediment, bright watermelon red, 1 finger off-white head. Smells really good. A fresh cherry aroma and a little bit of earthiness. has an earthy mulch-like salad flavor with heavy raspberry flavor. Cherry is present but it's even a little peppery as well.

Bottle at a Mom's Donut pairing, paired with Chocolate Pineapple donut. Cherry was complementary, light tartness worked. The beer is hazy reddish amber. Light cherry aroma. Taste is lightly tart with light tannins. Thin body
