Power tasting at Phill's, bottle 14/720, bottled 2/13/2019, 10.1% ABV
Black colour, small head. Aroma of roasted malt, coal, cheese rind, tobacco, a bit phenolic. Lean mouthfeel, balance between sweetness and alcohol, burnt sugar, dark caramel, decent malt depth.
Potent, complex, very well done.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is nutty, fairly molassesy, seems like it will be sticky. On the palate, some alcohol to dry it out, lots of molasses so a fun dark sugar character. It's got a bright nuttiness. Quite well balanced, and some good flavour notes.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of dark and stone fruits, with lots of orange peel, dark red stone fruits, and a little molasses. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of orange peel, dark dried fruits, molasses, and alcohol. Lots of orange peel and molasses on the finish, with a fair alcohol kick. This is really nice.
