16 oz can, courtesy of Travlr (thanks a lot, Gene), pours a hazy deep dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out gentle peat smoke, with toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with a pleasant peaty smoke. Nicely balanced - I like the smoke character here. Solid.

Draft at the source. Clear bright amber. Aroma of low smoulder. Taste is more deeply smoky not quite meaty but heading in that direction. Nice

12oz can. Thanks Grant! Reddish dark brown. Smells like smoked ham and ash with a little brown sugar. Very thin, smokey as all hell. its too style. just not my kind of style.

12 oz. can from Prost, North Hampton, NH. Deep ruby color, thin lasting head. Aroma of caramel, smoked malt, hints of smoked bacon, sausage.
My rating reflects my enjoyment level of the style. This beer is spot on in the lines of old school German smoked beers. The smoked meat and campfire is pretty strong in a medium plus body. Charred ash finish.

Pours bright mahogany into a shaker. white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Sour smoke aromas. Dry with sweet caramel upfront turning to mild lemon joy before the lasting dirty smoke finish.

Keg pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is nice light brown pour with no sparkle, light head with decent lacing. Aroma is roasted malt more than smoke. Taste is smoke dominant bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with creamy texture, with long, pleasantly bitter finish. Overall, a lot to like here. Given that the smokiness is going to dominate almost everything, there is surprisingly more going on.

Can from the Brewery, shhh don’t tell them I took it I don’t think they know. :) Pours a deep copper color with a faint reddish glow and a rocky off white head that persists forever. Rich melanoid, toasty maltiness with a fair amount of earthy smoky almost meaty aromas wafting at me. The flavor is a bit heavier on the smoked character than the aroma suggested. Meaty earthy smoky flavors with some faint sweet bready toasty maltiness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Pretty damn good smoked beer right here! I look forward to trying more from them when they open.
