Tap at The Ginger Man, NYC. A bit hazy yellow colour, small white head. Light fruits and spices in the aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, Belgian yeast estery, some spiceyness but overall quite easy Belgian Saison. This is maybe more to have with food than to drink by itself.

On tap at Lost Nation, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of farmhouse notes, light smokiness and some dry hops. Flavour is similar, with subdued dry hops, farmhouse notes and some spiciness. Nicely constructed, with a floral dry hopping finish. Solid.

Tap at Reservoir, Waterbury. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, some Belgian style and malts. Very weak Belgian style ale IMO. Belgian session ale? Sorry but this is little bit of disgrace.

On tap at The Reservoir, Waterbury, VT.
I helped kill the keg. So they had it in a mason jar for me, the rest is based on observations.
The appearance was basically a hazy burnt yellow color with a light transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a quickly dissipating white foamy head. Moderate lacing.
The smell had some sweet citrus, light floral, and then some white pepper. Belgian sugars underneath.
The taste was mainly sweet initially following through into the white pepper nicely. Light semi-sweet Belgian sugar aftertaste. Wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and smooth. Nice stickiness. Not cloying, good.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good Belgian ale that I would have again even if it wasn’t served in correct glassware.
