Creamy, toffee aromas balance the bitterness of Munich malts in our roasted brown lager. Although dark in color, Dunkel is medium in body and finishes dry and clean, resulting in a rich lager that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More Burlington. Appearance is clear reddish-brown with tons of nice sparkle finger-width foamy beige head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is rich roasted malted molasses and milder cocoa. Taste is roasted malt-molasses and earth with perhaps a hint of chocolate and cinnamon. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth frothy texture average carbonation with lively ending kick and dry finish as taste. Overall a good representative of the style.
