Arabian Nights is our series of big celebratory beers that tells a story one beer at a time.
The first tale in this collection marks our brewery and taproom’s arrival from Kera, Espoo, to Arabia, Helsinki, in the form of a Barrel Aged Pastry Stout with Coconut and Cacao Nibs, a long-awaited wish finally granted
Thick and syrupy from its time resting in rum and maple barrels, it matured patiently through long nights alongside coconut flakes and cacao nibs. Sweet, indulgent, and powerful, this is a beer fit for sultans and storytellers alike, one for which civilizations might rise, fall, and gather again, just for another taste before the next sun rises

(Keg at Tired Uncle’s Taproom, 20260604) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, vinous notes and alcohols. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, coconut, vinous notes, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coconut, wood and bitterness. A nice burnt brew with clean barrel notes. I knew I took a risk with coconut.
