In December 2017, we brewed a collab with Spanish brewery La Pirata. This turned out to be a brilliant thick stout. When we asked our fans what beer we should release again for our 10th anniversary, the Hundred was mentioned very often.
Fun detail, the origin of the name of this beer. When we sat down with La Pirata to come up with a name, this happened to be the 100th brew of 2017. Sometimes it can be that simple.
This thick full-bodied stout is brewed with lots of dark malts, oats and muscovado sugar. At 12% alcohol, this is a real beer to enjoy quietly. This beer has dark notes of coffee, licorice, molasses and caramel on the palate and a lovely creamy finish. A worthy beer to celebrate our 10th anniversary with.

330 ml can. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of dark caramel, dark fruit, cola, and roasted malts. Flavors of same. A little light for this type of stout but tasty and very easy to drink.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is dark chocolate with sweetish roasted malt, caramel, sugar, cocoa. Rather sweet with a mild bitterness. Medium plus body. Lots of sweet cocoa mostly.

0.33 l can from 'DeBiersalon.nl', best before December 2030. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, caramel and a touch of vanilla. Very sweet, malty, quite roasty, moderately bitter taste of dark chocolate, mocha, roasted hazelnut, some caramel and hints of vanilla, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great mouthfeel, rather intense and heavy overall.

A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong dark caramelized malt, some chocolate, toffee. Taste of chocolate, caramel, toffee, strong dark malt, bourbon.
