Draft taster at Great Lost Bear. Clear deep amber color medium tan head. Aroma of caramel, dates, banana. Taste has burnt caramel, dark fruit. OK

500ml bottle. dark brown in color. Aroma is light yeast, mild raisins, some dark bread. Malty aroma with weak yeast, slight banana hints with dark rye bread flavors in the finish. The body and mouthfeel is lacking. I don’t pick up much German yeast at all.
I used to really love this style and still enjoy the authentic German examples. This is nowhere close to the German brews in the style.(I was hoping it would be)
