12oz can, undated, drunk 7/18/17.
Moderate haze with a sunny, orange-golden-copper body and a medium-sized, white head showing low retention.
Peach, pear and apple in the nose show either some really strong yeast esters or very oddly fruit skin-themed hops (probably a mix of both). It does seem quite yeasty, with tons of cracker and dough that definitely blunts what could be more lively, bright hop aromatics. Cracker-like malts sit on the end.
Light, dry and bitter with more of the strong yeast/dough character. Orange tea-like qualities abound and with warming the texture softens considerably. Great, natural carbonation, it would seem is definitely a highlight and there's no flaw or resin here. Would be outstanding as usual, from this gem of a brewery, were it not for the odd, pervasive yeast and dough.
