Opaque plum flesh color. Strong acid aroma. Extremely sour taste typical of the style, some wine flavor and sweetness underneath, like under ripe fruit.
Ultra tart and sour plum juice, it's fantastically sour and tasty. Sweet plums and oaky barrel, solid Flanders.

Bottle from the source. Murky reddish purple color tiny tan edge head. Aroma has plum, cherry, prune, light tannins. Taste is tart cherries and prunes with moderate tannins. Too acetic for me.

Sample during the Dark Lord Dia-beetus 2017 tasting on 10/28/2017. Cloudy purple-mahogany color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart plum and cherry, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
