Hand-pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn on Sunday, 19th October 2025. Didn't realise I hadn't rated this version (often drink this and have already written about the other two on this site). Anyway this is a very pleasant Bitter, golden/copper in colour with a white crown on top. Nice, easy going blend of UK hops (I think) on a solid malty base.

Golden amber with a frothy / creamy white head and a fruit malt aroma. Creamy and smooth with floral bitterness on top of a solid sweet malt backbone with hints of berry fruit pushing through, finishes dry and bitter

Nose is stewed fruits, brown bread, biscuit, straw.
Taste comprises hedgerow, dates, herb, straw, grains.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a light bitter bite.
Decent enough bitter.
