Draught at Arrogant Sour 2019.
Dark yellow, medium hazy body, with a small, white head.
Beautiful aroma of barnyard funk, cheese, wood, moderate white wine, yellow grapes, some earth, slight curry.
Tastes similar, while a bit straighter, with more citrus.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, dry, wooden, vinous, funky, cheesy, citric, with some yellow grapes, earth, slight curry.

Very tasty! Beautiful, deep, funky nose, while the taste is a bit straighter and balanced. The wine barrel is quite subtle, but comes through a bit more as the beer warms up. Not as amazing as La Vie Est Belge, but still very beautiful, characterful stuff. Score: 9 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17

Sample at the Shelton Festival. Pours a hazy, light, yellow color, with a big, bubbly, white head. The aroma is hay and barnyard, rosemary, leather, Riesling, and pine. Dry as bone, with a sharp bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, sticky mouthfeel. Lovely funkiness and pleasantly dry. Excellent!

(2015 on tap @ Moeder Fontainas, May 1/18) Pours relatively hazy gold with a decent sized fine white head (force carbed?) Notes of light but somewhat zesty lemon, light but crisp green grapes, wet hay, barnyard, fresh minty herbs, nuts, wood, lactic acid, quite some turmeric/curry building with oxygenation, lightly to moderately tart through the sip and finishing semi-dry with nuts, turmeric, lemon peel, herbs and soft funk all resonating in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, slick, fairly soft carb. Damn, that's lovely stuff even if rather off-piste for your typical lambic. For me, really fantastic, a bunch of vin jaune character here.
