Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber red with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has musty sweet grains and straw with a touch of smokiness underlying. Flavor has sweet grains with a bit of straw as well as a slight growing smoke note.
