Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of rye with grass and some bitter citrus. Flavor has bitter citrus with a touch of pine and a strong rye backbone.

Draft at the brewpub, Grand Rapids. Hazy medium orange-brown body, thin off-white head. Spicy bitter nose with citrus rind and peel. Nice body, lots of citrus rind and peel (especially orange) balanced by spicy rye and toasty, mildly sweet malts. Dense flavor profile. Nice beer, my favorite of the visit.
