Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has sweet chocolate and lactose backed by dark grains and roasted malts. Flavor has notes of chalky dark grains and lactose up front with chocolate and roast growing through the finish.
