Bottle @ Cantillon. Pours dark red with a pinkish head. Aromas of sweet red grapes, vinous tannic, black currants, light funky. Taste is a bit of a letdown. Grapey, tannic, lightly funky, oaky, lightly phenolic and bitter finish. Probably needs some time. Aroma shows great potential at least!

Sample at the Shelton Festival. Pours dark purple, with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is hard cheese, blueberry, vanilla, wet grass, thyme, and merlot. Not very sweet, with a smooth tartness. Medium body, with a, sharp, hard, lightly acidic mouthfeel. Nice, with subtle fruit, and excellent balance.

28/09/2018 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Deep dark red, medium fading white head. Nose is bit sulfur, red grapes, bit piss. Taste is sharp sour, grapes, oak, bit apple, vinous, very dry. Just a tad to sour for me.

Bottle at Cantillon. Pours lightly hazy red with a creamy pink head. Crisp, moderately tart, quite salty, with a mild minerally noe, grapes in the background, cherry pit, a little alcohol. Medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Quenching finish, tart, some old wood, more salt, mellow acidity. Superb.

Bottle at Cantillon. Pale red and cloudy. Fruity nose is tart red grapes and grapefruit. Lightest of sweetness, grapefruit, light yogurt, wine. This one is very sour and a bit over the top to enjoy, but tasty.
