0,75l bottle at Cantillon. Redish / purple colour, small pink head. Smells earthy, musty, bit cheesy, wine notes, spices, wood, bit grassy, peppery, light manure. Nice smell. Medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes citric, grassy, earthy, light great apples, spices, peppery, light tannins, light grape notes, wood. Finishes quite dry and medium sour with notes of grass, citrus and some wine notes. Aftertaste trails away a bit. Good one, but missing some grapes

750 ml bottle, vintage 2017. Shared with Beerhunter111 at the brewery.
Red, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, light pink head.
Aroma of funk, cheese, basement, horse blanket, moderate red grapes, which come a bit more through as the beer warms up.
Tastes vinous and dry, with red grapes, wood, moderate cheese, some horse blanket.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, vinous, fruity, a bit funky, with lingering red grape skin.
Tasty. The nose is dominated by the typical Cantillon funk, the grapes come through much more in the taste. Drinks dry and vinous, while pretty easy. Not among my favourite Cantillon grape lambics, but another lovely one.

Bottle at the source. Pours hazy dark ruby with thin white head. Grapes, red fruit, red wine, cherry fruit yoghurt, little cow poop, mostly in the nose, some herbs and spices, similar to deep red wines. Moderate sweet and bitter, medium sour. Medium body and low carbonation.

Bottle from Cantillon. It pours cloudy deep ruby - purple with a decent off - white head. The aroma is rich, juicy, jammy, red berry, blackcurrant, wet leaves, fruit compote and some tangy red apple. The taste is sweet - sour, juicy, jammy, tangy, blackcurrant, red grape, bit of spice, kick of acidity, musty, damp, mouldy basement, tannin and wet wood with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. So fruit forward. Has a deep blackcurrant character. Maybe not as much depth as hoped, but it's still delicious.

750ml bottle pours a clear, dark purple with some sticky white head. Nose has clear red grape, more claret than cab, pomegranate, some citrus rind, more band aid than cheese. Flavor sings, the lambic base is there but its really just the backbone for the grape to shine, red grapes, again more table wine than anything, berries now too. Medium bodied, oily finish and really low acid level for Cantillon.
