Sampled from the tap at FOBAB 2012. Pours a near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of ginger with some roasted malts and a bit of sweetness from chocolate and vanilla. Flavor has a lot of ginger as well with sweet dark grains and some roasted malts and rye in the finish.
